Terms of Service
By visiting or shopping at the PrintingResponsibly.com web site (“Service”), a service of PrintingResponsibly, LLC (“PR”), you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions (“Terms of Service”).
PR reserves the right to update and change the Terms of Service from time to time without notice. Any new features that augment or enhance the current Service, including the release of new tools and resources, shall be subject to the Terms of Service. Continued use of the Service after any such changes shall constitute your consent to such changes. You can review the most current version of the Terms of Service at any time at:
If any of these terms shall be deemed invalid, void, or for any reason unenforceable, that condition shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining terms.
Privacy

Your account
- If you use this site, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for restricting access to your computer, and you agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password. PrintingResponsibly.com reserves the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, remove or edit content, or cancel orders in their sole discretion.
Cancellation and refunds
- Can I cancel my order? If you have not approved your proof, you can cancel your order. If you uploaded files and you cancel your order, you will be charged a $15 cancellation fee for the cost of prepress. If you have not uploaded files and you cancel your order, you will not be charged any cancellation fee. After you approve your proof you cannot cancel your job. Your job will be printed and shipped and your credit card will be billed when your job ships.
- What if I am unhappy with the quality? If there was a manufacturing error and/or defect, we will rerun the job at no charge. We reserve the right to judge what a manufacturing error or defect is. If you believe your job contains a manufacturing error and/or defect, we ask that you mail us 15 samples for evaluation. We will notify you as to whether we agree that there was an error or defect within 48 hours of receipt of the samples. We require any complaints to be registered within three days of receiving your job by sending a message through the send message form on the job details page. All sales are final.
Turnaround times and delivery
- Turnaround time begins when you approve your proof. Jobs approved after 11am EST will begin counting turnaround time the next business day. Business days are Monday through Friday. Holidays, Saturdays and Sundays do not count when calculating turnaround.
- PrintingResponsibly.com assumes no responsibility for delays caused by delivery carriers or any damages resulting from the failure to receive a job on time. Our expected delivery date is not guaranteed. Your order may arrive late due to unforeseen delays in delivery service, the breakdown of equipment, illness, etc.
- All items purchased from PrintingResponsibly.com are made pursuant to a shipment contract. This means that the risk of loss and title for such items pass to you upon our delivery to the carrier.
Proofs
- You are 100% responsible for the accuracy of your layouts and content. Please proofread all layouts carefully. As postal regolations are subject to change, you are also 100% responsible for complying with current mailing restrictions for postcard backside layouts. Please check with your local Post Office.
Sales Tax
- All orders shipped to NY addresses are subject to sales tax. If customer is tax exempt, exemption certificate must be sent or faxed to us.
Indemnification
- The customer will indemnify and hold harmless PR from any and all loss, cost expense, and damages on any and all manner of claims, demands, actions, and proceeding that may be instituted against PR.
- The customer also warrants that the subject matter to be printed is not copyrighted by a third party. The customer also recognizes that because subject matter does not have to bear a copyright notice in order to be protected by copyright law, absence of such notice does not necessarily assure a right to reproduce. The customer further warrants that no copyright notice has been removed from any material used in preparing the subject matter for reproduction. To support these warranties, the customer agrees to indemnify and hold PR harmless for all liability, damages, and attorney fees that may be incurred in any legal action connected with copyright infringement involving the work produced or provided.
- The customer also warrants that the work does not contain anything that is libelous or scandalous, or anything that threatens anyone’s right to privacy or other personal or economic rights. The customer will promptly and thoroughly defend PR in all legal actions on these grounds as long as PR promptly notifies the customer of the legal action and gives the customer reasonable time to undertake and conduct a defense. PR reserves the right to use his or her sole discretion in refusing to print anything he or she deems illegal, libelous, scandalous, improper or infringing upon copyright law.
Modifications to the Service and Prices
- PR reserves the right at any time and from time to time to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the Service (or any part thereof) with or without notice.
- PR shall not be liable to you or to any third party for any modification, price change, suspension or discontinuance of the Service.
- Items in your Shopping Cart will always reflect the most recent price displayed on the item’s product detail page. Please note that this price may differ from the price shown for the item when you first placed it in your cart. Placing an item in your cart does not reserve the price shown at that time. It is also possible that an item’s price may decrease between the time you place it in your cart and the time you purchase it.
- Due to fluctuations in the cost of materials, PrintingResponsibly.com’s prices will necessarily change on occasion.
- We cannot confirm the price of an item until you order; however, we do NOT charge your credit card until after your order has entered the shipping process.
General Conditions
- Your use of the Service is at your sole risk. The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
- You must not modify the Service or modify another website so as to falsely imply that it is associated with the Service, PR, or any other PR service.
- You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell or exploit any portion of the Service, use of the Service, or access to the Service without the express written permission by PR.
- We may, but have no obligation to, remove Content and Accounts containing Content that we determine in our sole discretion are unlawful, offensive, threatening, libelous, defamatory, pornographic, obscene or otherwise objectionable or violates any party’s intellectual property or these Terms of Service.
- Verbal, physical, written or other abuse (including threats of abuse or retribution) of any PR customer, employee, member, or officer will resolt in immediate account termination.
- PR does not warrant that (i) the service will meet your specific requirements, (ii) the service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, (iii) the resolts that may be obtained from the use of the service will be accurate or reliable, (iv) the quality of any products, services, information, or other material purchased or obtained by you through the service will meet your expectations, and (v) any errors in the Service will be corrected.
- You expressly understand and agree that PR shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages, including but not limited to, damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data or other intangible losses (even if PR has been advised of the possibility of such damages), resulting from: (i) the use or the inability to use the service; (ii) the cost of procurement of substitute goods and services resulting from any goods, data, information or services purchased or obtained or messages received or transactions entered into through or from the service; (iii) unauthorized access to or alteration of your transmissions or data; (iv) statements or conduct of any third party on the service; (v) termination of your account; or (vi) any other matter relating to the service.
- When you visit PrintingResponsibly.com or send e-mails to us, you are communicating with us electronically. You consent to receive communications from us electronically. We will communicate with you by e-mail or by posting notices on this site. You agree that all agreements, notices, disclosures and other communications that we provide to you electronically satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.
- All content included on this site, such as text, graphics, logos, button icons, images, and software, is the property of PrintingResponsibly.com and protected by United States and international copyright laws. All software used on this site is the property of PrintingResponsibly.com and protected by United States and international copyright laws.
- The failure of PR to exercise or enforce any right or provision of the Terms of Service shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision. The Terms of Service constitutes the entire agreement between you and PR and govern your use of the Service, superseding any prior agreements between you and PR (including, but not limited to, any prior versions of the Terms of Service)
